Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026 — Controller: MG Medical Transport LLC, 1205 Golden Eagle St, Pflugerville, TX 78660, info@mgmedicaltransport.com
This Privacy Policy describes how MG Medical Transport LLC (“MG,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit https://nemt.morninggloryhomehealth.com, call (512) 669-3225, or book non-emergency medical transportation. We are a direct local carrier based in Pflugerville, TX.
1. What We Collect
- Ride request data: name, phone, email, pickup/drop-off addresses, date/time, trip type, ride type, weight range (for bariatric fit), wheelchair type, transfer ability, assistance level, stairs/elevator, equipment (oxygen/walker), companion, appointment/facility notes.
- Communications: messages, call notes, SMS/email confirmations.
- Payment: handled via processor; we retain receipts/basis, not raw card data in our systems where processor tokenizes.
- Website data: IP, device, pages viewed, referrer (if analytics allowed); form errors for UX improvement.
We do not request full clinical charts to book a van — only ride-necessary details.
2. How We Use It
- Schedule, dispatch, and complete your ride; assign correct vehicle/crew.
- Communicate confirmations, ETAs, and changes via phone/SMS/email.
- Process payment and maintain records for safety/compliance/dispute handling.
- Improve website and service (aggregate analytics only when allowed).
- Comply with law and enforce Terms.
5. Retention
- Ride & payment records: kept for service completion, accounting/dispute, and legal compliance, then eligible for deletion/redaction after review and any legal hold.
- Support communications: retained while needed to resolve issue plus reasonable follow-up period.
- Analytics: retained only if you allowed it, per tool settings, then aggregated or deleted.
Deletion uses approval steps — we do not bulk-purge without review.
6. Security
- Access controls and role-based permissions; staff see only what is needed.
- Session controls, rate limits, same-origin checks, and audit logs for sensitive access.
- Reasonable vendor due diligence; data minimization as described in HIPAA & Patient Data.
No system is 100% secure; report suspected incidents to info@mgmedicaltransport.com.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may request:
- Access, correction, deletion, or portability of your information.
- Withdrawal of consent for optional processing (e.g., analytics).
- Opt-out of sale/share (we don’t sell, but honored via GPC).
To exercise rights, email info@mgmedicaltransport.com with subject “Data Rights Request” or call (512) 669-3225. We verify identity before acting and respond within applicable legal timeframes. You will not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
To update ride details, contact us before the trip window — see booking checklist.
8. HIPAA Note
HIPAA applies to specific covered entities/associates. Consumer-submitted private-pay requests may not be HIPAA-covered in same way as provider/health-plan processing. When a covered entity asks MG to handle PHI on its behalf, we require a Business Associate Agreement before accepting PHI. Details in HIPAA & Patient Data.
9. Changes & Contact
We may update this Policy; material changes reflected in “Last updated” and, where appropriate, notice on site or via contact on file.
