1. Educational Content Only — Not Medical Advice
Content on https://nemt.morninggloryhomehealth.com — including Choose the Right Ride, service pages, and blog posts — is for general planning and education. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or determination of medical necessity. Always follow your physician, nurse, therapist, and facility discharge instructions. When in doubt, ask your care team whether ambulatory, wheelchair van, stretcher, or ambulance is appropriate.
2. No Guarantee of Availability, Timing, or Outcome
- We operate Monday–Saturday with ~48 hours notice; same-day/next-day depends on real fleet availability.
- Pickup times are windows, not exact minutes; traffic, weather, and hospital discharge reality affect timing.
- We do not guarantee medical outcomes, appointment timeliness beyond reasonable transport effort, or facility acceptance at destination.
3. Service Limits — What We Don’t Provide
- No emergency/ALS/BLS ambulance, no active medical monitoring en route.
- No stretcher/gurney transport requiring supine positioning with current fleet — referred to licensed stretcher operators when orders require it.
- No bariatric gurney or heavy-duty stretcher beyond manufacturer lift/ramp ratings — must be disclosed at booking.
- No insurance billing — private-pay only (see Terms). Texas Medicaid NEMT is via your managed care plan.
4. Professional Responsibility
MG drivers provide courteous, non-clinical assistance and safe driving. They are not clinicians and do not provide medical evaluation or treatment en route. If a passenger’s condition changes during transport, crew may divert or call 911 and notify your emergency contact.
5. External Links & Sources
Links to government sources (e.g., Medicaid assurance of transportation, ADA guidance — FTA, CDC fall prevention) are for your verification. We are not responsible for external content or for differences between general NEMT patterns and your specific plan/policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, MG’s liability for any claim arising from the site or a ride is limited to the amount paid for that ride. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation, so it may not apply to you.
7. No Endorsement of Third Parties
Reference to any third-party provider to whom we refer stretcher/ambulance needs is not an endorsement or guarantee. Those providers remain responsible for their licensing, insurance, vehicles, drivers, and service.
